Steve Mazur is the Managing Partner of the firm and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In that capacity, he is involved in the day-to-day management of the firm and the firm’s administration.
Steve has over twenty-five years of experience serving the labor union and employee benefit plan industry. He realizes how critical it is to stay on top of governmental developments that affect the firm’s clients. A creative problem solver, Steve prides himself on his ability to dig deeper into an issue to get a thorough understanding of his clients’ needs. A good relationship builder, Steve has contributed to the Firm’s positive reputation with regulators.
Steve has earned the designation of Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He is currently a member of the AICPA Multiemployer Plan Accounting and Audit Task Force. Steve has served in a consultative capacity to FASB with respect to multiemployer benefit plan issues. He has also served terms on both the Executive Committee and the Experts Panel of the AICPA Employer Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.
Steve is a graduate of Georgetown University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. Steve is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
Steve resides in Mount Laurel, NJ with his wife and three children. He serves on the Parish Finance Council of the St. Mary of the Lakes Church located in Medford, NJ.
