Marta Cooper is a Manager in the Payroll Compliance Review Department in the Philadelphia Office. She has been performing payroll compliance reviews for numerous benefit funds, both regional and national since 2004. Marta’s experience includes analyzing Collective Bargaining Agreements as they pertain to Fund contributions. This includes comprehensive review of employers’ Payroll Records, Cash Disbursements Journals and other relevant documentation to verify that contributions to the Funds were made in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
In addition to performing priority payroll compliance reviews, her responsibilities include training, supervising and reviewing the Philadelphia and Boston associates. Marta also maintains random cycle programs for numerous clients.
Marta holds a Certified Fraud Examiner credential and is a current member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is also an active member of the local Philadelphia Area Chapter of the Association.
